About Me

Hello, my name is Lydia McLeod. I am a fourth year Education student at the University of Regina. I am a Secondary student; my major is Mathematics and my minor is English.

I grew up on an acreage outside of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. My family consists of four members: my mom Janice, my dad Keith, my brother Dylan and myself. I attended St. Mary High School graduating in 2012. Throughout high school I played basketball, and was the Treasurer of my high school S.L.C.

I recently completed my internship at Riffel High School, where I taught Workplace and Apprenticeship 10, Workplace and Apprenticeship 20, Foundations 20, and ELA A30. I was also the assistant coach of the Jr. Girls Volleyball team, and I am currently an assistant coach of the Sr. Girls Basketball team,

I have always known that I have wanted to be a teacher; however, it was not until recently that I decided I want to be a Math teacher. I hope to be a teacher that inspires and helps students succeed. I am very excited for what the future holds and am looking forward to all the new experiences I will have.
